2012 Endowment Applications Now Available!
Do you know about a great program or cause that could use a financial boost? Or what about a capital project within Zion that needs funding? As we start a new year, Zion members may again apply for grants from the Mission Endowment Fund and the Capital Improvement Endowment Fund.
Over the last seven years, the Mission Endowment Fund has granted a total of $760,500 to over 100 different organizations representing a broad spectrum of mission projects throughout our community, across the country and around the world. Over that same period, the Capital Improvement Endowment Fund has provided $84,500 for a number of improvements to Zion’s facilities and additions to its furnishings.
Applications for the 2012 funding year are now available in the church office, in the family life center and on this website. If you download the application from our website, you can enter all the information on the form using your computer. It is a “fill in the blanks” document that can be saved on your computer. After you have typed in all the information and saved the file, you may mail a printed copy to the church office, or attach the document file to an email addressed to the church office.
All applications must be submitted and sponsored by an active member of Zion. Each Capital Improvement application must be accompanied by a Mission application from the same sponsor. Applications must be received by the church office no later than March 12, 2012. Apply early - now is the time to get involved in “bringing mission to life!”
